It’s official: Quattro de Mayo 2010!

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

The Cherokee Audi Club is proud to host Quattro de Mayo on April 30th through May 2nd. ‘QDM’ is the Southeast’s premier Audi driving event. Last year, nearly 100 Audi’s (along with a few VW’s, BMW’s and Porsche’s) came to the Smoky Mountains to tackle such roads as:

  • The Tail of the Dragon
  • Foothills Parkway
  • The Devil’s Triangle
  • Cherohala Skyway
  • Clingman’s Dome
  • and more!

Stay tuned as we announce our official lodging arrangements, routes, sponsors and banquet information.

Thanks to everyone who attended Helen Backwards!

The weather wasn’t great, but the Cherokee Audi Club had a great time driving through the North Georgia Mountains anyway. We started our 85 mile journey at Unicoi State Park in Helen, Georgia. With intermittent rain falling from the sky and gravel, salt and slush on the road, it was a great test of our vehicles. Thanks to quattro and responsible driving, we completed our drive along some of the Southeast’s twistiest (and funnest) roads without incident. Longtime club member, Dirk L. won the members-only raffle for an ECU upgrade package from APR.

We took some pictures along the way: click here to see them all in our gallery!
